200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
Come home to yourself. Learn to guide others back.
As Utah’s oldest Yoga Alliance Certified School, 3B has been a trusted pillar in the community for decades. We’re proud to evolve while staying rooted in what matters.
A Vinyasa Teacher Training. Rooted in Ashtanga. Designed for Real Life.
At 3B Yoga, our 200-hour teacher training is grounded in the Vinyasa method and deeply informed by the Ashtanga tradition. You’ll learn structure, breath, and discipline through the framework of the Primary Series while also developing the skills to teach dynamic, accessible Vinyasa flow classes that respond to the needs of modern students.
We teach the art of sequencing, cueing, and adapting for real bodies and real life. Our approach is practical, embodied, trauma-informed and designed to cultivate presence, regulation, and confidence both on and off the mat.
Whether you plan to teach or simply want to deepen your relationship with your body and breath, this training offers a space to study, grow, and return to yourself.
This is more than a certification. It’s a return to self, to breath, and to presence.
Led by highly experienced and skilled teachers, our program honors yoga’s roots while creating space for inquiry, integration, and becoming. You’ll receive a rigorous foundation in technique and philosophy with room to embody it in your own way.
We move reverently. We move intentionally. We move with respect.
For self. For others. For the practice.

This means:
We prioritize choice, pacing, and autonomy in all experiences
We actively support nervous system safety and embodied presence
We teach language, sequencing, and presence that honors lived experience
We don’t simplify or soften our standards. We build rigor through relationship, clarity, and care.

Our 200-hour training is held over 12 thoughtfully paced weekends from October 2025 to January 2026, designed to support both learning and balance.
We meet in person at 3B Yoga in Provo for immersive, in-studio weekends that allow time between sessions to integrate, reflect, and rest. The training is holiday-friendly, with breaks built in around Halloween, Thanksgiving and the end-of-year holiday season. This allows you to stay committed to the training without missing time with family or community.
Even better? You’ll enter the new year as a certified yoga teacher. By the end of January 2026 you will be equipped with the skills to guide others and deepen your own practice in 2026 and beyond.

We believe excellence and accessibility can co-exist. That’s why we’re offering a small number of partial scholarships for this 200-hour training.
These scholarships are intended to support those who feel deeply called to this work but would not be able to attend without financial assistance.
What to Know:
Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000 off tuition
Offered to a limited number of students per training
Awarded based on financial need and personal story
Available through a short application
We do this to extend access. Not to devalue the training, but to make space for those who may need a little more support getting here.
If this speaks to you, we encourage you to apply here with openness and honesty. We read every application with care.
What Makes 3B’s 200 Hour YTT Unique?
At 3B, we don’t rush transformation. We nurture it.
We hold high standards. We offer structured support. And we approach teaching through a trauma-informed lens. not as an add-on, but as the foundation of how we teach, learn, and relate.
Here’s what guides our approach:
We lead with nervous system care, not performance. This applies not just to the future students you will teach but how we teach you as a trainee.
We honor the lineage of yoga, while integrating contemporary science and movement research.
We believe every student learns best in a space that values choice and autonomy.
This is not a performative training. It’s a path of self-responsibility, integrity, and embodied leadership.
Why Ashtanga?
Ashtanga Yoga offers more than just a set of postures. It provides a structured framework that teaches discipline, breath awareness, and internal focus. Developed by Pattabhi Jois and rooted in the teachings of Krishnamacharya, Ashtanga is a traditional system of Vinyasa Yoga that links breath with movement in a deliberate, counted sequence. With tools like drishti (gaze), bandha (energetic locks), and precise breathwork, Ashtanga helps students build physical strength and mental clarity from the inside out.
At 3B, we choose Ashtanga as the foundation of our 200 hour Vinyasa YTT because it teaches students how to move with purpose. The structure of the Short Primary Series offers a consistent, intelligent progression that builds fluency in alignment, energetic awareness, and breath-led movement. These are skills that translate into any teaching style. But structure is only the beginning.
Because today’s teaching landscape often calls for more than just traditional sequencing, we also train students to design and guide modern Vinyasa flow classes. In addition to learning the Short Primary Series, you’ll develop the skills to sequence creatively and intentionally—rooted in anatomy, nervous system awareness, and trauma-informed principles—so you can teach classes that are both grounded in lineage and responsive to the real needs of your students.
