Join us for a one-hour, full-body listening experience led by Callie Forsyth.
Settle in, slow down, and restore under the calming energy of September’s harvest moon.
Let the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls and other instruments guide you into deep relaxation and presence.
Why the Harvest Moon?
The Harvest Moon — the full moon closest to the autumn equinox — has long marked a time of gathering, slowing down, and preparing for the shift in seasons. Across many cultures, it’s been a moment for shared meals, reflection, and gratitude for what has been grown.
This evening offers a modern ritual of our own: taking time to pause, listen, and replenish before moving into the busier months ahead.
Why Sound Baths?
Research has shown that sound-based meditation can:
Lower stress and anxiety by reducing cortisol levels
Slow heart rate and breathing, supporting deep relaxation
Improve mood and increase feelings of well-being
Support focus and mental clarity by shifting brainwaves into calmer states (theta and delta)
During a sound bath, the body’s relaxation response is activated, allowing the nervous system to rest and restore. Many participants report improved sleep, reduced muscle tension, and a greater sense of emotional balance after sessions.
