Class Descriptions
We encourage everyone new to 3B Yoga to try our 3, B series classes in order, however, there are no prerequisites for B2 or B3 and we invite everyone to practice at your own pace and move in a way that is kind to your body.
B1 Classes (Perfect for beginners + intermediate)
B1 is the first in our B Series classes that covers the foundation of the asanas/movement/breathing. Experience more instruction and specific alignment cues from the instructor. Move at your own pace through an intelligently sequenced class created by the instructor.
B2 Classes
B2 is a progression in our B Series classes. Experience a flow that can come from understanding the foundations of yoga (asanas/movement/breathing) as well as explore postures from the first and second series of Ashtanga, Hatha Yoga and more in an energetic, intelligent and playful way.
B3 Classes
Join our advanced asana class where postures are often broken down. Once the Breath and Asanas have been practiced regularly, this is a great class to explore and challenge yourself with postures from all the series of Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga where you can put it all together to Breathe, Bend and Be.
Primary Series Classes
This traditional sequence of Ashtanga Yoga known as “Yoga Chikitsa,” or Yoga Therapy is a meditative and healing progression of precise movement and deep postures. 75-90 minutes.
Short Primary Classes
Short Primary Series is an abbreviated sequence of the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series Sequence. This beginner friendly class puts you in a rhythm with your breath that creates a moving meditation.
B Mindful Classes
A mix of beginner friendly movement with guided meditation that may involve breathing practice, mental imagery, body-scan and open awareness to increase mindfulness, lower stress, and relax the body. The first part of class is often movement, and the second part is exploring different types of meditation or relaxation.
B Grounded Classes
A gentle yoga class for everyone, but is especially geared towards those with sensitivities, including sensory concerns due to trauma. Learn to begin the process of befriending yourself, practicing self-compassion and strengthening connection. B Grounded is a gentle yoga class for all levels of capability to build mind and body awareness through movement. Please arrive on time.
B Gentle Classes
In B Gentle discover the art of mindful movement and be rejuvenated through a thoughtful sequence of poses at a gentle pace. Lengthen the muscles, free the joints and broaden the mind. 60 min.
Restorative Classes
This class is about opening, not stretching, stillness instead of movement using props to support and facilitate ease in yoga postures. Each class includes 3-4 postures held for 5-25 minutes each to promote deep relaxation.
Yoga Nidra Classes
Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep" is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by a guided meditation.
Mysore Classes
Mysore class is the traditional, individualized method for an ashtanga style yoga practice. Each individual receives personal instruction and attention to progressively move through the Ashtanga yoga sequences in a group setting. The studio is open for Mysore students weekdays from 6-8am. Individuals can come and go within that time frame based on their own scheduling needs. There is no prerequisite or prior knowledge of yoga needed. The intention behind this method is to help the individual learn and continue a life-long yoga practice tailored to their needs.
Adaptive Yoga Classes

Adaptive Yoga: Created to allow those with decreased mobility, injuries and balance issues to access the healing benefits of yoga. With the use of chairs, blocks, blankets, other props, and the wall we experience poses in a safe and effective way. Adaptive yoga is a class that makes yoga accessible to “every body”!

Meditation Classes
Join us in Community Meditation. This is a free class where a team of local meditation teachers come together to offer their expertise and individual specialties to the community. Teachers will rotate each week.
Prenatal Classes
Practice with a community of mamas in a yoga sequence designed to ease discomforts as well as strengthen and prepare your body for birth.
Kids Yoga Classes
Kids Yoga explores mindfulness, creativity & confidence through yoga, games, relaxation exercises and many other fun activities. Class will run through the school year with Holiday’s off. Recommended for ages 5-10. 50 min. Summer special kids classes.
Community Yoga Classes
Join us for a free class taught by our wonderful interns, this short primary class is open to the community and great for beginners. Mats are available to rent for $1.
